So, living here in Southern California, where do you go on a Friday night when it's hot??? Here of course...
To the Tiki Tiki Tiki Room, to the Tiki Tiki Tiki Room
sing it with me friends!
Yep, Disneyland was PACKED, but the Tiki Room is never crowded, and of course nice and cool inside.
We ate dinner at Pizza Port, and sat through 2 showings of the birds and flowers singing. That is how a local enjoys Disneyland in the summer.

I can't belive tomorrow is my baby's last day of First Grade. What an exciting year this has been for him! I still can't believe how fast he's growing up. Here's some pics of his school year. I wish I could make time stand still with each picture I take.

CKU (Creating Keepsakes University, for my non scrappy friends) is in town this week, practically in my own backyard in Anaheim California.
We've been working to get the store ready for scrappers from all over the US, and the world.
I love when visitors come to the LSS where I work (oh and I love all you regular customers too!) and I get to chat with them about where they are from. It's nice to meet someone from South Africa, or South Dakota and know that instantly you've made a new friend that shares the love for scrapbooking like you do.
I can't wait to see what new friends I'll make this week!

I love to take pictures, always have, always will. I remember my first real camera. A Kodak Pocket Instamatic 110. Remember those?? The film was the long skinny cartridge that fit into the back of the camera. I was my favorite gift of my 10th birthday. It seemed like once a week my parents were dropping my film off to have it developed.
Since then I've had quite a few cameras, and have taken thousands of pictures. About 6 years ago I went digital, after quite a resistance though. I still wanted to take my film, drop it off, and get that wonderful envelope full of photos handed back to me. The best thing about being totally digi now, is that I can take as many photos as I want, but only print the ones I totally love. Which brings me to the photo up there.
I took this photo 2 years ago. Tucker was 4 years old. While I was chatting with a friend, he concocted his own Lemonade Stand, on a table in the family room. In these 2 short years, I had totally forgetten about his little Lemonade Stand, until this morning when I was browsing though some photos from 2005. This is why I love taking pictures, to remind me of those childhood memories, that I don't ever want to forget.
