Here's what I did last night...

Ya, I know it's almost June, and this picture is from my birthday in December, but that's what's fun about scrapbooking...
As I was putting this layout together, I remember the fun we all had that night. Instead of a cake, my father in law had insisted on a Pecan Pie for me, since he knows how much I love Pecan Pie, Tucker trying to light the candles with some help from grandma, and trying to not let me see, opening presents that I know were chosen especially for me, and the best of all...spending time with my family.

First Grade Album

For the past few weeks I have been working on an album for Tucker's First Grade Class. Tuesday night was open house at school, so I finished the album the night before, and had it all ready to give to his teacher. She loved it!!

Tucker was so proud to show us all the work he had done, and had been saving in the classroom just for this special night.

Monday

If if has to be Monday, at least it's been a good one!

After I came home tonight, I download some pictures I took yesterday. Which is when I found this. Normally these WEEDS are not a welcome sight in my garden, but what a pretty picture I got just before I pulled this little buggar.

I can't imagine what life would be like with out my Digi camera. Even taking photos of weeds is fun!

Sunday

Babysat a friends baby yesterday morning. Oh how I miss having a baby in the house! Then later in the afternoon we went out to Disneyland for awhile. They were doing test runs on the Finding Nemo Submarine Ride. Tucker can't wait 'till it officially opens...only 22 more days as he reminded me this morning. Andrew was working, so we talked with him for ahwile as he pushed his Glow Cart around Main Street. What a cool place to work when you're 19!

Once a Mom, Always a Mom

This morning after taking Tucker to school, I thought I would do a little scrapbooking before it was time for me to go to work. I opened up a drawer to find this.

Apparently Tucker had been saving the chipboard M's and N's of the world.

Gotta love that little guy!

Christmas in May???

Yes, even though it's the middle of May, I was working on some Christmas pictures tonight. These are two of my favorite layouts.

Maybe I'll throw the seasons all off course and work on some Halloween pictures tomorrow night.

Happy Mothers Day

After a wonderful Mother's Day lunch, I came home and scrapped for awhile. This is a little something I came up with.

Fiesta

Every May, Lakewood has a Pan American Fiesta. I've been going since I was a little girl, and has now become a tradition I continue with my own kids. I always loved the rides, looking at the crafts and munching on the yummy snacks.

Today was the first day of the Fiesta, and I felt like that same little girl. I shared a snowcone with Tucker and watched him ride the rides with Daddy, but inside I felt like I was 8 again. Oh what a fun day we had!

Teacher Appreciation Week

This week is Teacher Appreciation week. Today, all the kids were to bring a flower for their teacher. We picked a few flowers this morning in the garden. There's nothing as cute as a flower bouquet in the hands of a first grade boy.

I've wanted to visit this store in LA that I had heard so much about. It's called Sweetpeas & Snapshots and is cute inside and out. I bought some really fun vintage labels and stickers. I can't wait to go visit again!
