Here's a handy little website a friend sent to me...
Just enter in your zip code to see where the cheapest gas prices are in your area.
Afterall, that's just more $$$ to spend on patterned paper right??

Yesterday Tucker and I went to a Mommy and Me class at "another local scrapbook store", and had a great time! We made a Father's Day mini book, ate pizza and had ice cream sundaes. He was so excited about his project that he couldn't wait until Father's Day, and gave it to Daddy as soon as we got home.
Today he (or should I say we) are working on his report for school. We're off to the library to find a book about the Wright Brothers, and maybe a quick trip to Target. An icee from Target sounds good on a hot Sunday afternoon.

This morning on my way out the door, I found this little guy. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a hummingbird sitting before. He was even nice enough to wait until I could run back in the house and get my camera. I wish he would have moved out of the shade just a bit, and to a lower branch so I could have taken a really nice picture, but this will do.
I hope you find time today to sit and relax too.

Sunday was Mother's Day and I had a wonderful day! Well, all except for when the door bell rang at 7:45am and I had to get out of bed. I tried to ignore the ringing, but Tucker was insistant that I answer it. I grumbled all the way to the door to find a delivery man holding these beautiful orchids. I have such a wonderful hubby! He had to teach a class early Sunday morning, and wanted to be sure they were delivered before he was home. (notice the little red bird sitting in the left corner of the basket? When I called to tell him thank you, his first question was "did you see the bird?") I've always loved birds, and I was so happy to see that little bird sitting there! Sometimes it's the little things that make such a big impression. I'm sure the orchids will live quite awhile, but I'll probably keep that little bird 'till I'm 90.

Now I know there are some of you that are a few years younger than me that have no idea who this guy is. But for the rest of you, this is where I ate dinner last night.
We actually found Bob's last week, but had already eaten dinner that night. Since then, all I could think about was going back and trying a Double Decker Cheeseburger or my favorite, Chili and Spaghetti to see if they still taste the same as when I was a kid. I decided on the Chili and Spaghetti, and as soon as I took the first bite, it was like I was 10 years old all over again. It's funny how something like that can bring back a flood of memories from your childhood.
I'm not really sure how long it's been since I had been to Bob's Big Boy. I know they were still around it the 80's, but I do know I'll be going back again real soon.

It was back to the Dr.'s yesterday for another check up and ultrasound. Everything seems to be going fine. It's still to early to tell what it is, but we did get some good pictures! I haven't been sick the past 3 nights, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this glorious part of pregnancy is done and over with. I know in the end it's all worth it, but having to run outside to get away from the smell of a corn dog your teenage son had put in the microwave for a late night snack was just too much.
