New Shoes

This is what SHE will be wearing as HER first pair of shoes. These are so cute, I can't stand it! Pink glitter!

This morning was the long awaited doctor's appointment. The doctor confirmed what he thought 3 weeks ago, that it is for sure a girl. I thought Clayton was going to hug the doctor.
We made a quick trip to Babies R Us tonight, which is when I found the pink glitter shoes. I'll say it's because of the pregnancy hormones, but I started crying as soon as I saw them. Then I saw a pair of white patten leather size 0, with rhinestone buckles. I had to put them in the cart too.

When we got home from our trip to Babies R Us, and I pulled her beautiful new shoes out of the shopping bag, I noticed that the security tag wasn't taken off of 1 pair. I guess that means another trip back tomorrow to have the tag removed. But I don't mind at all.

Last Week... and this week.

Tuesday - I had 8 people in my Beginning Scrapbooking class. I love teaching, especially when you get to introduce them to this great hobby.

Wednesday - Tucker's last day of 2nd grade. After we picked him up at school we took him to see Kung Fu Panda. He loved it!

Friday - Didn't feel too great when I got up, and by Friday night was at the hospital. To make a long story short, I ended up being too dehydrated due to an intestional virus and had to have an IV.

Saturday - Rested, and was glad I didn't have to stay overnight in the hospital.

Sunday - Felt pretty good!

Monday - Austin left for Hawaii with his 3 buddies (that he's known since elementary school) as his graduation present. He was so excited! I felt worse than I did on Friday. Went to work for a short time, but just couldn't do it. Hubby called the Dr as soon as I got home. Dr's adivce "only banana's, applesauce, dry toast and water for the next 48 hours." Hubby went to the grocery store to get bananas, and came home with 6 lbs. of applesauce, 2 loaves of sourdough bread, and 14 bananas. I know he was really worried about me, but just how much can you eat in 48 hours. Gotta love him!

Tuesday - Stayed home from work to rest and make sure this virus is over with! Tucker had his first T-Ball game, that I missed, but daddy got some great photos.

Wednesday (today) It's 4:42am, and I can't sleep. I think I've reached my quota for sleeping while being sick the last 5 days. Andrew's 21st birthday is today. I still can't believe I have a 21 year old!
AND, I'm sick of bananas, applesauce and dry toast.

Friday - We go to the Dr for a check up, and a 3-D ultrasound to see if it's going to be a boy or a girl. I'll update you then!

A Little More Random Creativity

Another layout I started a few weeks ago, and just finally added the dates to over the weekend. I'm trying to scrap all the random pictures I have from my childhood that there are just 1 or 2 of, and combining them on pages. Sorta. This works for me though!
I love all the Making Memories goodies on this, and that sweet little bird is one of the Heidi Swapp mirrors.
We had a great weekend... we took Daddy to lunch and dinner yesterday for Father's Day, and just enjoyed spending the day with him.
I hope you had a great weekend too!

Austin's Graduation

Last night was Austin's High School Graduation. It was held at the Crystal Cathedral (the huge church right by Disneyland). I took a ton of pictures of Austin, and his friends, some that he has gone to school with since pre-school. It was such a great night! I love this picture of me and my boys, I'm such a lucky Mom!

Random Creativity

Here's a layout that I did last weekend at our Employee Crop at work. I love getting together with all my work buddies and laughing the night away. We ate great snacks, listened to some 80's music, and scrapbooked to 'till 2 in the morning! I like how it turned out, but hate that there is only 1 small picture. I guess I should be happy that I even have the picture. One picture of me with my favorite sock monkey when I was 2 1/2 is better than no picture at all I guess!

Also, a baby update...
I went for my regular monthly check-up yesterday. All is going well. I go back in 3 weeks and will have a 3D ultrasound done to determine the boy/girl status for sure.
My Doctor was "positive" he knew the sex yesterday, but still said not to run out and buy anything yet. So we still have to wait 3 more weeks to confirm anything. It's 22 days until my next appointment (not that I'm counting or anything!) but have Tuckers class play, Austin's Gradution, Father's Day, Tucker's last day of school, and Andrew's 21'st Birthday, all before then, so at least I have something to keep my mind busy (ya right, like that's gong to work!)
Have a great day, I'm off to work!
