T-Ball Fun

I took this picture at Tucker's T-Ball game last week. It's his first time playing baseball, and he loves it. I've missed going to the weekly games since his older brothers played a few years back, so it's been fun to sit on the bleachers and yell and cheer and take tons of pictures. It's still the same as it was back then though...the ball is hit to center field and the whole team runs to get it. It's so funny to see all the kids scrambling for the ball as the coach is trying to remind them to stay in their positions. He has another game tomorrow, I can't wait!!

One more layout...

Here's another layout I made for the pregnancy mini album I'm working on. I used more of the Making Memories Noteworthy paper that I love so much, and don't you love the ribbon with "target's" on it! This was such a fun day registering for all the tiny little baby things. I'm glad I took the camera with us!

Happy Anniversary!

Today at work a customer asked me how long I have been scrapbooking. I told her 22 years this month. (long story, but I know the exact day I became a scrapbooker!) As soon as I said it, it dawned on me that it is exactly half of my life. Wow!! Funny to think that buying those first pair of deckle scissor back in July 1986 would change my life. Ok, maybe not change my life, but change how I look at life I guess.
I love...that I have the menu that I ordered breakfast from at Memorial Hospital 21 years ago after the birth of my first son, in his scrapbook.
...that I have a note from my middle son's kindergarten teacher from the first day of school, asking if I had survived the morning because I had left sobbing, because he was crying so hard as I left him, in his scrapbook.
...that I have on a piece of paper, the first time my youngest son wrote his name, with the "e" backwards, in his scrapbook.
...that I saved the parking stub from my visit to the doctors this past Wednesday, to put into this soon to be baby's scrapbook. (yes, I have already started one for her)
I guess you could say July is my Scrapbooking anniversary. 22 years and counting, of taking pictures of, journaling about, saving things from and remembering, the good things, the not so good things, and everything in between.
Here's to 22 more.

9x9 Album

Here's a few pages of a 9x9 album I've been working on to remember all the fun (and not so fun) things during my pregnancy. It's been nice to work on a small album again! I forgot how quickly 9x9 pages come together. I've been using the Noteworthy line from Making Memories, that became my new favorite as soon as I saw the papers!

Happy 4th

We're spending a relaxing day at home, with the AC on, waiting to BBQ at 5. Family, friends and neighbors are coming over tonight so I've got baked beans on the stove, pound cake in the oven, meat marinating, and some sun tea on the back fence. American flags are all over the backyard, fireworks are bought and were ready to celebrate!
Have a great 4th of July!
