~ A Few Layouts to Share

Here's a little of what I accomplished today...




I love days like today where I get a few pages totally finished.
I have a TON of pictures that I took when we were in San Diego for Spring Break, so I need to get more layouts done of all the "touristy" we did like the Zoo, Wild Animal Park and yes, more Sea World.
I also have pictures from the cutest little scrapbook store I visited. (while we were in San Diego) I fell in love before I even set foot in the door! Take a look for yourself.

The displays were so creative.
It was so fun digging through these treasures!

Just all around cuteness!
I can't wait to go back and visit again.
Well, it's time to figure out what we're having for dinner, I've played enough today ;)

~Wednesday

So you may have noticed I didn't post any layouts yesterday. You know, the ones I was going to do on Monday when it was so hot.
Well, I have an excuse.
Really I do.
It's because of this.

I was almost finished with the first layout, when I started thinking maybe I could just read a few pages.
Ya right.
Now, let me point out to you that surely I am the last person on the planet to read the book, so that made the draw it even worse.
I couldn't help it.
I bought the book last week, then we were out of town for a few days, and it's been calling my name since we've been home.
Now mind you I'm only on Chapter 8, so I'm not even close to being finished.
But when I do finish, you can bet I'll be doing a layout about it ;)
Off to read.

What's Up with This??

Almost 98 degrees at lunch time??
Obviously too hot to go anywhere today
so that leaves scrappin'

~Tuesday

Oh my have we had a fun first few days of spring break!
We went to Sea World on Friday with Grandma & Grandpa and the little kids (big kids were both hard at work at Disneyland)

Sunday was a wonderful day celebrating Easter with the family.
We colored eggs...I love how bright these turned out!

Grandpa and Grandma have gone back home now, but we decided this morning to head back to San Diego again and spend a few days there at the Wild Animal Park and the Zoo.
I've got the camera charging, and am almost finished packing the suitcases.
Oh, and in the middle of all the fun, this little girl turned 5 months old, and has a tooth ready to come through at any second (that would be why the sad face)

Gotta get back to packing. You know how you have to take the whole house with you when you have a baby :)

Happy Easter!

We have had a busy morning already!
Up early for a yummy breakfast, an easter egg hunt and decorating easter cookies, all before 8 o'clock.
My mom & dad in-law are here so the kids are having a great time with Grandma & Grandpa. This afternoon we're going to dye easter eggs and just spend time together.

~Wednesday

So, when your Mom is a scrapbooker, what do you want to take to school on your day for Show & Tell. A scrapbook of course! The only problem, he didn't want to take one of the many scrapbooks that he already has. He wanted me to make a scrapbook.
How could I say no :)
So for the past few days I've been putting together a scrapbook for Tucker's 3rd grade class. One that he can share for Show & Tell, and then leave in the class room for all the kids to enjoy. Very very simple layouts, but fun for the kids to look at.
I filled it with pictures from their feild trips.



He was so excited as he left for school today.

Now as he is at school, I wish I could be there when he shares his scrapbook.
To take picture of course!

~Tuesday

We had an exciting day yesterday in the Jenkins household...
This little lady rolled over for the very first time!

and then rolled over and over, again and again while I snapped photo after photo.
We were all clapping and cheering as she did.
She looked at us like we were all crazy.
Sometimes it's the little things that mean so much :)

~Sunday

Today is the 95th. day of the year already and I still haven't missed a day taking a photo.
When I started Project 365, it was more for the novelty of it. So many scrapbookers that I knew were going to do it, so I thought I would too. It's been amazing how much fun I'm having though!! I've always been one to carry my camera almost everywhere with me, so that wasn't a change, but remembering to take a photo even on the days that we were at home all day, that took some getting used to.
I think I am enjoying scrapbooking more too. I don't feel like I am behind, and like I need to make a layout for everything. Sometimes a photo and a few lines of journaling is perfect. I can see 365 will be happening for quite a few years down the road.

Gracie went to her very first Birthday party, and had a great time!
These were all photos that I might have done a layout about, but having them in my 365 Album is good enough.
I can't wait for the next 270.
