It seems as if the past month has been a whirlwind.
A whirlwind of emotions, both highs and lows.
So much going on, I'm ready for the ride to stop.
I haven't scrapbooked in over 6 weeks.
I think that is the longest time span in the last decade I've gone without picking up my paper trimmer and creating. I've still been taking pictures, although not many, but I am one to scrapbook pretty much everything, good times and bad. I know at some point I will look back on this time and be glad I've still been capturing the memories.
We leave for vacation on Sunday with this as the destination:I'm really looking forward to this vacation, although I know it's going to be hard for my Mom to have us gone that long, but this trip with my inlaw's has been planned since last summer, and honestly I really need to get away. Both of the older boys will still be home (it's busy season at "The Happiest Place on Earth") so she will be happy to have them stop by.
We haven't started packing yet.
There's just a huge pile of things accumulating in the family room.
3 weeks of vacation = a lot!!
As I checked the weather today for Yellowstone, the low tonight was supposed to be 27, so I guess I need to add heavy jackets to the pile.
Clayton surprised me with this last week.
I've been trying to figure it all out so I can get just the perfect shot of thisOld Faithful erupts every 60-90 minutes, so hopefully I'll get some great photos, that will have me wanting to scrapbook as soon as we are home.
After Yellowstone/Wyoming, we're headed up to Montana to visit Clayton's brother. I already have a list of things I want to visit in Missoula! Tucker is excited to meet Uncle Nick, since he was only 3 months old the last time we saw them.
From Montana, we head back home to good ol' Cali.
We haven't completely decided on the route home yet.
It will either be back down through Utah (um ya, Scrapbook capitol of the world!) or over and down through Washington and Oregon. Our vacation last year with my Mom and Dad inlaw was to Oregon & Washington, and there were so many things we still wanted to see, we are kinda considering coming home that way. Either way, I have a list of things to do and places to see! I'm counting the days until we leave, and can't believe a whole year of planning this trip is finally here.
Also, a special thanks for all the emails about my Dad. I really appreciate each and every one of them, and all your kind words.
I will update as soon as we are back from Road Trip 2010!!
