Here is Tucker's official "First Day of 5th Grade" layout. I still can't believe he's in 5th grade!Love the colors in the new Crate Paper School Spirit Collection. Especially love that they aren't the bright primary colors like so many school papers are.
Also loving the weather right now.
Perfect pumpkin carving and apple cider drinking weather.

{Random Wednesday}

*Enjoying the rain here in So. Cali except for yesterday at 5:15 while I was driving on the freeway.
*Spent the weekend at my inlaws. Love them!
*Scrapbooked a little
*Shopped at a NEW scrapbook store on Monday. Great Store!! It's called Memory Lane (same place as the old Scrapbook Depot for all you locals)
*Tucker was placed in the Gifted and Talented Education program at school, which I had to sign a permission slip for. I signed on the wrong line. Guess they wont be placing me in GATE ;)
*I have a roast in the crock-pot and it smells divine.
*We have Harry Potter and Cinderella costumes paitiently waiting.
*Went to Disneyland last week to see it decorated for Halloween. Love that the Haunted Mansion smells like gingerbread as you go past the dining room scene.
*October is half over already. WOW
*Have to take my Mom to the DMV tomorrow at 8am. So many other places I'd rather go visit.
*It's raining again, I love the sound of rain hitting the windows.

Here's a layout I made this morning.
The photo is from one year ago today.I can't believe how much this sweet girl has changed in a year.
She wasn't even walking then.
Now she runs.
Once in awhile she walks, most of the time she runs :)
She said a few words back then.
Now she never stops talking.
I love hearing her say "I lub you Mommy"
Not so much when she says "Holy Crap"
Ummmmmmm wonder where she got that.
(ok, you can quit pointing your finger at me)
She will be 2 one month from tomorrow.
It just gets better and better.

I just looked out the window a few minutes ago and see it is raining again! Fall just might be making its way to Southern Cali after all. I love this time of year! So cozy and warm indoors, which is where I have been all week. I decided on Sunday to organize all my patterned paper. Which then led to organizing all my alpha stickers, which then led to a total reorganization of my scrap studio. I've moved things around, and added a few things here and there with some brainstorming and help from my hubby. I think things will be put back together by this afternoon. I can't wait to start playing again.
