Just a fun and easy layout, but they had to measure and cut their paper, (one student had never used a paper trimmer until 4 weeks ago) punch a border, use a rubber stamp, and the best part, they learned how to make this really cool flower. I assured them the flower looked harder than it really was. They loved the end result!
Next week I start another 4 week session with a new group of students, and I am really looking forward to it. It's so much fun to see that "light bulb moment" when they realize, oh wow I can do this.
And..the photo, it's my Mom, her sister and my grandparents in 1946. Love the old black and white photos from back then.
