{A Layout and Exciting News!}

Here's a layout I made for Scrapbook Daisies using the new Lost and Found 2 from My Minds Eye. I love the vintage feel to this collection
(paper & die-cut title: My Minds Eye, flowers: Prima, alphas: American Crafts, cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, feather)
For this layout, I cut out the center of the patterned paper leaving a "frame", then roughed up the inside edge with my distressing tool.  After printing the journaling on cardstock, I added it behind the paper frame, then added the photo and embellishments.
And now the exciting news...
I've been asked to join the Sketchabilities Design Team! It's a great group of scrappers on the new team, representing 12 different countries! Our term begins in October, and I'm excited to get started on my first project.
Happy Thursday!

LOve this layout! So want to try it! The feather in the corner--a very nice touch! I always seem to collect them (feathers) when we go to state fairs and visit the chickens, roosters, etc. : ) This is a nice way to add them to my fair pages! Thanks for sharing!Blessings, Sharon
