{Sketchabilities # 58}

Today is reveal day for a new Sketchabilities sketch. Here's my layout...

(papers: Little Yellow Bicycle, Crate Paper, Sassafras Lass, My Minds Eye, title and twine: My Minds Eye, cardstock: Bazzill, flower and leaves: Recollections, ribbon, tag cardboard)
And here's the sketch:
For the base of the layout, I cut a 12x12 square from a cardboard box, then tore off the first layer of the cardboard to make it a bit shabby. After I cut the circles I even made them a bit shabby by sanding the edges with a Dremel tool. I love the effect it gives it. I "borrowed" the Dremel Tool from my hubby's workbench, but I think it has found a permanent home in my scrap studio ;) Don't forget to head on over to Sketchabilities and check out what the rest of the Design Team did, and if you give the sketch a try, be sure to link it up for everyone to see!
Happy Sunday!

I love the way you created contrast with the shabby/distressed details and the sweet flower and color scheme. Beautifully done! Great photo, too. :-)
