{Thankful}

I have one more layout I made for Scrapbook Daisies with the "Hello Fall" collection from Little Yellow Bicycle.
(papers and chipboard: Little Yellow Bicycle, cardstock: Bazzill)
This is my Great-Great Grandma Alice in 1897. Written on the back of the photo in her handwriting, is the story of walking to the photography studio, and how Howard got "a paddling" because he walked right through the mud in his brand new shoes.
For this layout I scanned and printed a copy of the photo since I was going to glue the chipboard word on top of the picture. I pulled out my vintage deckle scissors from the 80's and trimmed the edges to make it look like the original.
Another layout finished for the family history album ;)

Love that you found a little story on the back. And I really like the way you used the scissors to give the copied photo a little of the original's style.
