{What happened to May?}

I can't believe it's already time to turn the calendar over to June. Didn't May seem to fly by?  I haven't had nearly enough time for scrapbooking, that's for sure, but I did manage to find a few minutes here and there to come up with this...

I'm not sure yet which one of the kids album's this will go in, I just knew I loved these pics of their Great Grandma with her farm animals. I especially love the old black and white photos with the cool borders from back then.

Another Little Yellow Bicycle layout to share :) This one is already on display at Scrapbook Daisies, so be sure to check it out when you're in the store!

I cut a few flowers from a matching piece of patterned paper, then added them with pop-dots along with some of the coordinating stickers. I love the dimension it adds to the layout.

I also cut the word "Grace" from another paper in the collection. So perfect for pictures of my little Grace.

{Little Yellow Bicycle}

This is layout # 3 for my LSS Scrapbook Daisies, using Little Yellow Bicycle's "Elizabeth Park" collection.

(alphas - American Crafts & Making Memories, twine - My Minds Eye, doily - Martha Stewart, everything else is Little Yellow Bicycle)

I made the medallion ribbon using My Minds Eye paper, and added their matching twine to give the page more of a boyish feel since Elizabeth Park is mostly pastels. Love the blue and orange together!! The photo is from way back in '93...Austin is now 21 and taller than me, but still that same sweet boy :)

Here's my second layout for Scrapbook Daisies using my Design Team kit featuring Little Yellow Bicycle's Elizabeth Park collection.

(American Crafts Thickers, doily and ribbon roses from my stash)

For this layout I fussy cut the Birds on a Wire patterned paper, then added a tiny photo, half a doily and a few triangles to make the banner. Of course I had to use a few Martha Stewart punches, and even did a little machine stitching. I love when a layout comes together so easily! 

**disclaimer** Yes, I know Just Us 2 is grammatically incorrect,

but I liked how it looked ;)

{Monday}

It's that time again to reveal my layouts for Scrapbook Daisies! My kit this month had products by Little Yellow Bicycle and Prima, and I had so much fun creating :)  Here's my first one for today...

I love this!!  Gracie is one to definitely one to live out loud. She has the cutest little giggle that makes you want to laugh right along with her.  Oh, and notice the word Grace?? That was on one of the papers!! How perfect is that!! Stop back by tomorrow, I'll have more layouts to share!

{Friday!}

Blogger is finally working again! Woo-hoo!! It's been out since Wednesday, and I was starting to wonder if they were ever going to get it fixed.

Now to share the layout and Mother's Day gift I mentioned in this post. First the layout...

It's another layout for the 2010 Vacation album. Just a quick and easy collage of photos and scraps of left over paper. Lovelock, NV is such a tiny little town, only about 2,000 people!

Now for the Mother's Day gift...way back in the day I used to keep a journal, and was very good about writing or doodling something everyday. Over time I quit writing, and have always regretted it. Now I have this to get me back in the habit of writing again.

It's a One Line a Day 5 Year Memory Book. The coolest part, it's just takes a few minutes to write a little something about your day. And, did you see it is 5 YEARS! How fun will it be to look back 5 years from now, and see my entry from Tuesday.

Which by the way, we were so proud of Tucker! He is in 5th grade and played in a Solo/Ensemble Music Festival against Middle School and High School kids. He received a Superior and a Blue Ribbon. Way to go Tuck!

Anyway, I am so excited to start writing in a journal everyday. It's available here and here if you want one too!

{My Mother's Day}

My day started out with breakfast in bed, which by the way was the yummiest cinnamon french toast I've ever eaten! I got the 2 cutest scrapbook pages I've ever seen:

Both pages were 8x8, so I added the cardstock to make them 12x12, and a bit of my own journaling about the kids making these for me. I love that they made them all on their own. Well, except for a bit of help on Gracie's page with the scissors ;)

We took my Mom to lunch and then at her request, back to her place for her favorite chocolate ice cream. It was such a wonderful day.

I have a few layouts to share tomorrow,

 and also one of my other fave Mom's day gifts.

{Some almost Summer Fun!}

Um, so remember this post on Sunday where I said it was my last layout made with this months DT kit for Scrapbook Daisies??  I lied.  I still had one layout I hadn't posted :)

Everything except the cardstock is all by My Little Shoebox, and it's another layout for our Yellowstone vacation album.

OK, one last My Little Shoebox layout for the Scrapbook Daisies store. I've had such a great time creating with all the goodies that were in my Design Team kit this month!

I used some My Minds Eye paper out of my stash for the background, the Yellowstone NP stamp is an actual stamp from the visitors center that I cut out of my travel journal, and used a few pop-dots to make it stand out a bit. Alpha letters are American Crafts. Everything else is all My Little Shoebox
