About a year ago my Dad-in-law gave me all of the photos/photo albums from the Jenkins side of the family. (yes, how awesome is that!!) Imagine my surprise when I started looking through the photos and found not one, but three pictures of Great-Great Grandma Jenkins, who was known to be a bit feisty and quite opinionated, in a stance that was all to familiar. I don't know if attitude can be inherited, but I think I figured out where Gracie gets her sass ;)

I just got a box of pictures from my grandmother and I found pictures of their travels that match my travels today. its kind of funny. I found one of my grandmother and mom standing in the same spot my son and I took a picture in last year. There were more. I can't wait to scrap them like this. I've been looking for a good side by side idea and you rocked it!

Oh my gosh how cool is this! Love looking through heritage photos and seeing how family traits come through them. I found some similar poses by me and, who would have been, a great, great aunt. Love the composition and colors and texture of this layout too. I can see why it is your favorite for many reasons!
