{Happy Friday!}

It's finally Friday! Can I get a woo-hoo!!
To celebrate, I have a little piece of home decor to share with you.

I found this sweet little wooden birdhouse at a local craft store, and used the "Antique Garden"  March add-on kit from the Paper Bakery to dress it up a bit.

After a quick coat of white paint, I added the pretty My Minds Eye doily paper to the roof, and shredded some of the left over scraps to look like a little nest peeking out. The “Follow Your Heart” banner is part of the bar code strip on one of the papers ;)

I cut out one of the small flower doilies, and added it with a few flowers I made from the patterned papers, along with the pretty yellow lattice paper to the sides. For an extra added touch, I couldn’t resist adding the clear glass knob to the front for the perch. Right now I have my sweet little birdhouse sitting in our kitchen window, waiting for spring to arrive!

Oh, and the best part about this Friday...
Tucker comes home from his week at Outdoor Science Camp!! Gosh I've missed that boy.
