You all know I love old black & white photos, and since I was going to be hand stitching right through the photo, I copied the original and used my 1990's decorative scissors to trim the edges to give them a 1940's look. The cute Home Sweet Home paper already had a distressed look to it, so other than stitching the heart (which did take some time) this was a quick and easy layout to make.
Switching from scrapbooker to mom...
Tucker left this morning for outdoor science camp. All the kids were so excited as the bus pulled away from school! He took his camera, along with a memory card that holds over 900 photos. I can't wait to see the pics he comes home with and hear all the stories he has to tell ;) I know he is going to have an awesome time this week, but I'm missing him already.
