First up, thanks for all of your sweet emails, comments here and on facebook about my GCD Studios Desgin Team announcement. You all make a girl feel loved :)
And now a layout to share...
I made this with the "Antique Garden add-on kit from The Paper Bakery.
One of my favorite things about this months kit is the fab My Minds Eye weathered wood papers, which worked perfectly for this photo from Santa Cruz. The paper reminds me of the old wooden planks of the boardwalk, and the red striped ribbon along with the fun little banner pieces and jumbled up twine are so reminiscent of the colorful banners that hang at each booth all along the boardwalk. That was such a fun trip, I can't believe it was almost 12 years ago. Makes me wish Summer would hurry up and get here!! We are definitely counting down the days :)
As always, thanks for stopping by!

Wonderful page, Mary Ann!
I always get so excited when I see that you've blogged. Your work is so inspiring! Love this layout. It 'feels' like a boardwalk with the wood grain and the tickets!
Love your page...the wood look paper is just perfect!
love that embellishment cluster and your use of that wood paper. Gorgeous page!!!
What an awesome page. I love the white and everything is just perfect. wow!!! Congrats!!!
I totally love this page, I must have me some of that wood paper! I'm going to the beach in May and think this would be perfect! I love all your layouts, great talent!
love it!
Love this! I like the title and then with the wood grain paper. Awesome.
I love this layout, and the papers you choose were perfect! Love Penny
I love the layout! The red is such a good pop against all the neutral and muted colors. I also like how you used the chipboard banners raw the way they were. Not everything needs to be heavily misted and embellished!
This is gorgeous! Love the mix of papers.
Super cute layout!!!
LOVE how you used these great papers, I can't get enough of them!
Such a beautiful layout!!
What a wonderful layout...Love the colours and the great masculine feel of it. Do you mind if I pin it?
Love how it feels both organized and unorganized! Very nice LO!!
