This week when I got an email from my friend Sarah, with pics of layouts that another friend of hers had made, I thought it was pretty cool.

Yep, imitation is the highest form of flattery.
I love that someone I've never even met was inspired by me. Inspired enough to want to scrapbook her photos. Inspired enough to get them out of a shoebox (or off of a flash drive as the case may be) and record a memory.
As always, thanks for stopping by!

I agree with you Mary Ann! Kind of an arrogant attitude to think that no one else could come up with an identical idea. Love your layouts :)
Very well said! :)
Definitely a wonderful compliment!
Well said!
I agree 100% with you because thats why we share on our blogs with others to inspire each other to be creative!
I like those. Sometimes I use the same papers if I have them or similar ones. I was thinking the same thing and posted something to this tune on my blog last week!
Yikes!
When I seen my layouts, I thought I was in trouble!
Thank you Mary Ann, for sharing your thoughts on 'scraplifting' and I couldnt agree more.
I'm not one bit ashamed of being a scraplifter. Yes, I do it from time to time. We all do, in some shape or form. Normally I follow a map or sketch, but I find Mary Ann's work perfect! It makes me want to follow it almost exact :)
Be calm and keep scraplifting *LOL* Thanks Mary Ann!
I agree with Tracy B! We all do it, whether its with colors we've seen or certain elements a scrapper uses. As long as its not an exact duplicate that has been published...Great LOs too!
