{NSD Winner & a Layout to Share!}

First, thanks to all of you that stopped by on National Scrapbook Day! I loved reading all your comments and emails. Oh, and random.org picked comment #14.  Jen Adkins shoot me an email with your addy and I'll get your washi tape sent off to you!!
And finally, my new layout made with the Note to Self collection from Echo Park.

A little side note on this layout...the pics are from Tucker's school band concert.  A few weeks before the concert, the band teacher asked my hubby if he would like to accompany Tucker on his  last sax solo of the year. It would be the first time for the two of them to ever play together. My hubby and Tucker were so excited the night of the concert. Apparently I was excited too...me, the girl that literally takes thousands of photos a year, sat there and did not take 1 single photo. I got so caught up in the moment of watching them play,  I never even turned my camera on. Yep, seriously. So where you ask did that photo of them playing together come from??  Well, when you totally blow it, you get the crazy idea of taking a picture of your TV while watching the DVD of the concert..  It's not a great photo, but hey it works. At least I got a good one of them standing together after the concert ;)
Oh the life of a scrapbooker.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

Great layout, well done for thinking of a way to get the photo of them playing. I get annoyed when I forget to take photos too, my daughter had her first sleepover a couple of weeks ago and I meant to get a shot of her and her friend in their PJ's, but totally forgot, grr.

Love the big arrow on your LO. x

Awww, cute story. I can see how you'd get caught up in the moment because it's a really special one. I love how you popped the circles and your mix of elements and layering is great on here!

I love this. That's such a sweet story too. I love that you thought to take a screenshot of the TV. Genius! The photo looks great. Love how you used this collection. That music sheet paper is perfect and the pop dot circles are so fun. Great layout!

Funny about the "TV picture"! I get shy about taking pics sometimes, and don't get the shots I planned. Great page with one of my favorite collections!

I can see myself doing the exact same thing, and then being upset without having any pictures.
