{Cut File, part 2)

When I shared this layout and said I had made one for each of my kids using that cut file, you though I was kidding didn't you? Well I wasn't!!
Here is version #2 (out of 4!) that's out on display right now at Scrapbook Daisies, my local scrapbook store...
I made the layout the same way, cutting my background first, then cutting 2" strips of each of the patterned papers, and filling in each section as I came to it with pieces from the 2" strips.
These two layouts will go in two totally separate scrapbooks, so I don't mind using a design I really like more than once ;) Do you ever make more than one of the same style layout?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Mary Ann

Yep, I use the same technique more than once if I know the layouts are going in separate albums - if I love the technique enough then why not eh?!

This one looks great too, fantastic boy version! x

I love this one just as much as the other one! :) I will often use the same techniques, especially since different papers and embellishments can make the layouts look totally different! :) AWESOME job, and thank you again for the inspiration!

I also tend to return to favorite layouts quite a bit. I LOVE this cutout...so unique and it changes depending on what paper you place underneath. So cool

I also repeat techniques. I scrap completely out-of-order, even decades apart, it is rare that layouts I make within a few days will even sit nect to each other in the album.
