The Paper Bakery | Memory Keeping

One of the fun things about memory keeping is exactly that, keeping the memories. I printed these photos just a few days after an afternoon at Disneyland, about 6 years ago. I put them and the firefighter sticker in a safe place and knew they would some day find their way to a scrapbook layout. Today was that day!
Sure, I've scrapped more recent photos in those 6 years, heck, a layout I made yesterday had photos from the weekend ;) but I love that I still had the sticker and was able to use it with the photos all these years later.
I obviously don't scrap in chronological order, some days I work with photos from my childhood, or like the layout from yesterday, photos taken the same week, but I'm still preserving and keeping the memories.

I used "Holiday Charm", the  November kit from the Paper Bakery to make the layout. Yes, it's a Holiday/Christmas kit, but it worked perfectly for a non-holiday layout!!  The right now, today and arrow chipboard pieces are from last months kit, but I always keep all my left over bits and pieces, so those were great to add as embellishments.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

I too follow the same process! Whatever I feel like working on I do! Love that you saved that sticker! Great layout!

Love how you used the Christmas papers for an everyday page Mary Ann! And the mix of polka dots is so fun!
