At the Pumpkin Patch!

Hey friends! I have a new layout to share using the Halloween Hooplah Kit from Queen and Company. I fell in love with the kit as soon as I opened the package! The dies are so very cute and have such detailed designs, and the fillings for the shaker boxes are the perfect holiday colors. For my layout, I went with a fall theme and I especially like that the kit works for both Halloween and fall projects too!

To start my layout, I made 2 shaker pumpkins using the dies, and filled them with a mix of the orange stars and clear and orange beads, all from the kit. I also used the center foam piece (that I had punched out from the pumpkin shakers) to make another pumpkin and then used the grinning jack o'lantern stamp from the kit to give him his smile!

To add even more pumpkins, I used the clear acetate piece that covers the shakers boxes as a pattern to trace around, and made three more pumpkins to layer on to have a whole pumpkin patch!
I finished my layout by adding the pretty green gems here and there, and to the hand-cut banner. I love how this turned out, and am happy to have this special day documented.

Scrap Soup! - October

The October Scrap Soup challenge is up over at Paper Issues! Each month I give you a recipe to use on your projects, you must use everything in the recipe, but can add more "ingredients" to make it your own.

Here is this month's list:

I started with the FREE Patchwork Pumpkin cut file, and erased all the center pieces leaving only the pumpkin border. I filled it in with my photos, and bits and pieces from the Roctober Kit.
Have you bought your Rocktober kit yet?? It's full of yummy goodness for Halloween and Fall too! It is available here in the PI store.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
