I finally did a little bit of scrapbooking.
Still not quite in the crafty mood,
but I did finish this layout about my hubby last night.
He has been my rock these past few weeks.
I'll never forget hearing my Dad tell him to "take care of his little girl."
And he has.
He's been there when I needed to cry,
and when I just needed to be alone.
It's amazing how someone can know you so well, that they know exactly what you need and when.
I Love him for that.
Last night I did something silly, dorky and stupid, all at the same time. Clayton looked at me and rolled his eyes with a grin on his face. Just like my Dad would have.
Things are going to be ok.

Today is National Scrapbook Day, and it's usually one of my favorite days of the year, getting together with friends to scrapbook and have a great time. Today will be different though. My Dad passed away last Saturday, and the funeral is today.
I haven't even wanted to scrapbook this week.
I have been looking through a lot of old photos though, and remembering so many things from my childhood. My Mom gave me some old scrapbooks last week, and looking back through them, I have so many wonderful memories of me and my Dad.
So, I won't be scrapbooking with friends, but maybe tonight after I'm back home, I'll make a layout about my Dad and I.
I know he would like that.
