Queen and Co. - Love!

We're spotlighting flowers over at Queen and Co. this month! I love flowers, whether it's in my garden or on my layouts, I love anything floral. Another thing I love is old family photos, so combine those two and I'll end up with a layout that sure to be one of my favorites!

I started my layout by cutting a design from cardstock using my diecutting machine and this FREE cut file from the Paper Issues store, then backing the large flower sections with the grey floral paper from the 6" x 6" Flirty Florals Mat Stack. I like how the grey floral looks with the old black and white photo.

Next I added my photo, then started layering on the beautiful pink and white Iridescent Flowers. I love how they shimmer! The Iridescent Flowers come with a rhinestone center, but to add a bit more color, I simply removed the rhinestone and added a few of the Yellow Sparklers and Pink Pinwheels to the center of the flowers.

I also added in some White and Pink Pom Flowers. The sweet little Pom Flowers are so cute and fluffy, I really like the dimension they add to my layout without making it too thick.
To finish off my layout, I scattered some of the White Petite Posies here and there for a bit of sparkle, and then added the "love" Acrylic Sentiment Title, on top of the flowers and just barely over the edge of my photo.

Now pop on over to the Queen and Co. blog for more beautiful flower projects
and links to all the pretty flowers!
