Scrap Soup - June!

The June Scrap Soup Challenge is up on the Paper Issues blog today! This is one of my new favorite challenges, just follow along with the recipe as you create your project. You can use more "ingredients" than the recipe calls for, but you must use everything in the original recipe. Here is this months list:

My girlie has been taking art classes every Tuesday after school. It's a cute little art studio in our town, and she absolutely loves going! Some days it's painting on a canvas, some days it's drawing on paper bags, you never know what fun things she will bring home! My layout includes pictures of her first "real" painting, this one took about 3 weeks to complete, and was on display at our local art show, and at her school art show too :)
For my layout, I started by cutting circles (more than 5!) with various sized paper punches, making sure to use at least 4 different patterned papers. Next came my two photos, and then the sequins, XO and crown for embellishments. To complete my layout, I added the chipboard title.

Have you played along with the Scrap Soup challenge yet?? You should!!  Head on over to the Paper Issues blog for more inspiration, and then give Scrap Soup a go...I'd love to see what you create!
